Our Messages of Hope.
Who are M.A.F?
As part of our learning for Year of the Word, we looked carefully at the charity M.A.F, who help needy and vulnerable people all over the world. We watched a video which showed examples of their work and were shocked by how many people they help and how dangerous their job is.
We then recorded what we had found out alongside some of our thoughts and feelings about what we had seen.
Our Collective Worship
'The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body.'
Corinthians, chapter 12
For our Collective Worship we looked at the passage above, taken from the Corinthians. We reflected on the meaning of the word and considered what we can do to show that we are living as one body.
We then all had a time of quiet reflection, where some individuals came forward to say a quiet prayer of hope in front of the Advent Wreath.
