Sale Grammar School
On Tuesday, we were welcomed into Sale Grammar School for an exciting afternoon of Science learning and investigations. The children were all extremely excited to visit their Science labs and gain an insight into learning at Secondary School.
We began the afternoon as rock detectives, applying the learning which we have completed in class when observing and describing a selection of different rocks. We then took part in a short investigation to find out more about what happens to rock over time using a sugar cube and jam jar. Finally, we explored how by measuring the mass of a rock we could learn more about whether it was porous or not.
What an exciting afternoon!
