Resources for Phonics!

Home Learning Week Beginning 20/4/2020

  • Amazon Audible! For as long as schools are closed, Audible is open. You can stream an incredible collection of stories that will help children to continue to dream, learn and just be children. Click on this link to be directed to the audible website. Explore the collection, select a title and start listening.
  • Poetry Time! One Poetry Time film will be posted on YouTube per day. This will stay available for children and parents to enjoy (and join in) again and again.
  • Oxford Owl for Home from Oxford University Press Oxford Owl have provided: 1) 72 free eBooks matched to Read Write Inc. Phonics Storybooks 2) 62 Speed Sounds practice sheets 3) 28 Ditty practice sheets 4) Parent information booklets 5) 8 Speedy Green Words slideshows. Resources are available on Oxford Owl for Home. The first batch of Read Write Inc. eBooks has now been added and the rest will arrive over the coming weeks. Parents and carers will need to login to access eBooks
  • Free Phonics Lessons For the next two weeks, live phonics sessions will show at the times below and will be available for 24 hours. Set 1 sounds 9.30 am (GMT) - Set 2 sounds 10.00 am - Set 3 sounds 10.30 am. Click here to access the link.
