It is both a privilege and a joy to welcome you to Holy Family. Having previously served as Deputy Headteacher here for the past 9 years, I already feel very much part of the school’s journey and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to now lead Holy Family as Headteacher.
Holy Family is truly a special place where we are more than a school- we are a family. As a Catholic school we place Christ at the centre of all that we do; encouraging children to be the best they can be as they walk in the footsteps of Jesus. This is demonstrated daily with our Mission Statement and Values ensuring that Holy Family is a vibrant and happy place to learn and grow.
Our Values-based philosophy is the foundation of the way we work at Holy Family, instilling our children with our 4 core values; 'Growing our hearts and mind', 'Passionate about learning', Together we succeed' and 'We care about respect.’
At Holy Family, we strive to make every child feel valued, nurtured, challenged and supported to become a happy, confident and resilient learner. We believe this is made possible through the strong relationships we build with our children and their families and we understand the importance of these partnerships.
We recognise how precious each school day is, so we aim to ensure that every child is happy, safe and engaged in an exciting, creative and broad curriculum that sparks curiosity while building the skills they need to reach their full potential. We celebrate every child’s unique gifts, talents and achievements so that they leave Holy Family with a lifelong love of learning, the confidence to flourish and the desire to contribute positively to the world around them.
We believe that your child’s time at Holy Family will be filled with happiness and success, and that the values they develop, together with their love of God will remain with them always.
We welcome visits to our school so that you can see us in action and experience first-hand why Holy Family is such a special place to be.
