Litter Pick at Worthington Park

On Monday, our School Values shone for all to see in our local community, as Year 3 took part in an organised litter pick. The children worked in pairs to collect as much litter as possible and spread the word that 'Litter Bugs Us!'. The Chief Executive of Trafford came along to thank all the children for their hard work and reminded them of how important it is to look after the world around us. Well done Year 3 smiley

This half term we have been thinking about Place Value. We have used practical, visual and mental representations to help us to gain a deep understanding of the value of each digit in a 3 - digit number. We have also been challenging ourselves to order and compare these numbers in a variety of ways. We love helping each other to succeed as you can see yes

We are passionate about our P.E.

On a Tuesday and Wednesday we take part in P.E. sessions led by Jess. This half term we have been developing our skills in both Basketball and Football. We have found out what opposed and unopposed means, as well as learnt a variety of different ways of passing both large and small balls. At the end of each session we explore the progress that we feel we have made throughout the session, using 'I can' statements to celebrate what we have achieved.
