Cake sale for Mental Health week!
Cornerstone Shoebox Appeal
Cornerstone is a homeless shelter in Manchester. This year, Mrs Sharvin and our Mini Vinnies wanted to support this charity with their shoebox appeal. During advent, the children and families at Holy Family were encouraged to bring in some essential items to include in the boxes. We were overwhelmed with how much support we received. Sixteen boxes were filled with hats, scarves, gloves, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand gel and other hygiene products. The children felt very proud of the contribution they had made to the community, especially at this time of year when the message of advent is to spread love, peace, hope and joy. The shoeboxes were delivered to the charity by Mrs Sharvin and Mrs Eddie in time for Christmas!
