Properties and Changes of Materials 

In our first Science topic of Year 5, we explore the properties of different materials and discovering how these properties make materials suitable for different uses.

Through practical investigations, the children will make predictions, carry out fair tests and record their findings. 

We have explored the transparency, magnetism and electrical conductivity of some materials.
